About of 'Nag Vasuki' Temple :
This temple is located on the north of Sangam in the northern corner of Daraganj on the Ganga bank. It has statues of Nag Raj, Ganesh, Parvati and a reclining statue of Bhishma Pitamah. There is a Shiv temple in the premises. A big fair is held on Nag Panchami day.Nagvasuki Ghat, named after this temple, it is provided with the accomodation for the devotees, who come to worship from far off places, in its premises. There is a huge 40 ft statue just outside the temple premises, which is said to be of Bhisma.The presidingc diety of the temple, the NAG (named Vasuki) is known from mythological times, being the powerful rope used to churn the mountain the ocean to produce the heavenly nectar. It is a place of importance for many a devout desiring to cure themselves of the two evil nodes of the moon.
